We realized that we weren’t alone. Fellow designers, architects, and even homeowners faced the same struggle. That’s when the idea for JAKE was born. 

To bridge this gap, we traveled across Japan and Asia, connecting with skilled artisans, family-run workshops, and heritage manufacturers who have been perfecting their craft for generations. We hope each material here reflects a legacy of tradition, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
