Named Onigurumi (Japanese walnut) after its rough, rugged seed surface resembling a demon's mask, this wood features a distinct contrast between its heartwood and sapwood. The sapwood showcases irregular striped patterns, adding to its unique character. Relatively lightweight, it is resistant to warping and cracking, while its strong impact resistance and shock-absorbing properties make it a highly durable material.
